Timebank Event – Sewing Machines for Beginners

Make a Cushion Cover

Whitehill Village Hall, 6 Sutton Field, Bordon GU35 9BW

Are you someone with a sewing machine who has never really gotten to grips with it? Or someone who becomes quite undone at the mere thought of zips? Now you can get to know your sewing machine and practice, by learning to sew a simple cushion cover.  Ollie will show us how to sew the cushion and add any decorations. 

All welcome. You do NOT need to sign up again if you already came to the last session.

Bring:  

• Sewing machine if possible and threads
• Fabric to make cushion 1 meter by half a meter or we can provide a limited selection
• Cushion inner (old or new) 
• Tape measure 
• Scissors 
• Pins 
• Optional tassels or other decoration
